Hong Seok Beom's Daughter-in-Law Jo Gap Kyung Targeted

Singer Hong Seo-beom and Jo Gap-gyeong's former daughter-in-law, Ms. A, has once again criticized Jo Gap-gyeong's television appearances, expressing her discomfort. Ms. A took to social media (SNS) and asked, "Are you happy laughing and chatting on broadcasts, acting like you don't know me?" She lamented that while the Hong Seo-beom couple has two daughters, they don't understand her "dying feelings," despite her also being someone's precious daughter. She added that she feels frustrated and suffocated because the Hong Seo-beom couple seems completely unaware of their wrongdoing.

Ms. A pleaded, "Even when I think I've forgotten, it haunts me in my dreams. It has left me with immense pain and trauma." She continued, "​I hope you will be held accountable for the sin of passively watching while knowing, for the sins committed against me, and for the sin of pretending not to know and appearing on broadcasts laughing as if nothing happened for three years." Previously, Ms. A had also posted on SNS the day before, criticizing Jo Gap-gyeong by saying, "​You ruined someone's life with your son's infidelity, driving them to the brink of death, and now you're appearing on TV. You know he's still seeing the person he cheated with. I guess you don't plan on seeing your granddaughter."

Earlier, Ms. A claimed through the YouTube channel 'Garo Sero Institute' that Hong Seo-beom's son, Mr. B, had committed adultery during his marriage and that child support is not being properly paid. Mr. B married Ms. A, with whom he was in a common-law marriage, while working as a contract teacher. However, it is known that he had an affair and left home shortly after Ms. A became pregnant. The court recognized Mr. B's fault in September of last year and ordered him to pay 30 million won in alimony and 800,000 won per month in child support. The case is currently under appeal.

In response, Hong Seo-beom and Jo Gap-gyeong apologized, stating, "We deeply bow our heads and sincerely apologize for disappointing and inconveniencing the public regarding our son's divorce proceedings." However, Ms. A has not stopped her criticism, telling the Hong Seo-beom couple, "​Properly apologize for what you did to me and my family. You're just pretending to apologize to the public because of this uproar." Ms. A also added, "​Why didn't you say anything sooner? If you had, my anger might have subsided a little, but you escalated things yourselves." She continued, "​I have to see you on TV again. Victims continue to live in such pain."
