Criticism has resurfaced regarding actress Song Ji-hyo's minimal screen time, barely exceeding 10 seconds, on SBS's 'Running Man,' leading to renewed speculation about her departure from the show. In a broadcast lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, Song Ji-hyo was primarily seen in reaction shots and group scenes, with little evidence of her taking a leading role.

Consequently, critical voices are growing on Song Ji-hyo's YouTube channel comments, with remarks such as, "Aren't you doing 'Running Man' for free?", " 'Running Man' is a professional program you need to take responsibility for. Please try harder," and "There's absolutely no audio from 'Running Man'." Some netizens have even left comments demanding her departure, saying, "This is my favorite show, but I don't want to watch it because of you. Please voluntarily leave."

Song Ji-hyo, who has been a fixed member of 'Running Man' for over 15 years since 2001, has faced calls for her departure in the past due to her low presence and passive attitude. In 2023, when viewer demands for her exit poured in for similar reasons, Yoo Jae-suk mentioned on the web variety show 'Pinggyego' that Song Ji-hyo was making a lot of effort and felt upset, offering words of comfort.
