Insooni's Daughter Reveals Finger Surgery Story

Singer Insooni's daughter, Park Se-in, confessed the story of having to amputate her left pinky finger due to an accident that occurred during a business trip to the United States.

On the 115th episode of TV Chosun's "Joseon's Lover," Park Se-in revealed that while working for a US company, she was on a business trip to LA when she was involved in an accident. She was trying to retrieve a bag from the trunk of her car when the car suddenly reversed, trapping her hand between the car and a wall. She stated that she has no memory after getting into the ambulance and that her wedding ring had to be cut off for surgery. Doctors explained that her finger was experiencing necrosis due to poor blood circulation.

Afterward, Park Se-in returned to Korea and underwent a total of seven surgeries at a hand surgery clinic, but ultimately had to have her left pinky finger amputated.

Recalling the situation at the time, Insooni's husband, Park Kyung-bae, expressed relief, saying, "If her body had been trapped or another part of her had been injured when the car reversed, the damage could have been much worse." Insooni also shared her pain, stating, "Seeing her injured hand felt like my heart was being torn apart." She held back tears for her daughter's sake, not wanting her to suffer, but admitted she didn't realize how difficult it was to endure.

Insooni expressed her gratitude to her daughter for her efforts in overcoming the trauma after the accident, saying, "Even though she pretended to have overcome the trauma in front of her parents, I believe it still lingers. I am so grateful that she has been able to manage her emotions so well on her own."
