Director Jang Hang-jun Criticizes IU's 'Chungmuro Etiquette'

Director Jang Hang-jun, who joined the ranks of directors with over 10 million viewers for his film 'Extreme Job', revealed that he reprimanded singer and actress IU for her lack of etiquette in the Chungmuro film industry. This was disclosed in the YouTube channel 'VIVO TV's 'The Castle of Acting' EP.08 video.

Director Jang Hang-jun expressed his intention to produce a low-budget independent film and revealed the casting candidates for the project, tentatively titled 'International Lawyer'. For the male lead, actors such as Ko Soo, Park Bo-gum, Jo In-sung, and Ju Ji-hoon were considered, while for the female lead, actresses including Kim Tae-ri, Lim Ji-yeon, IU, and Park Bo-young were in contention.

Specifically regarding IU, Director Jang Hang-jun stated that she expressed her desire to take on two projects simultaneously, a practice known as 'kake-mochi', even if her schedule didn't align. In response, Director Jang Hang-jun said, "This is not proper etiquette among people in the Chungmuro film industry," and revealed that he sternly admonished IU and sent her away, suggesting they work together next year.

'The Castle of Acting' is a mockumentary entertainment show featuring Kim Eui-sung, with Lim Hyung-jun serving as planner, director, screenwriter, and cast member. It is a content that blurs the lines between acting and reality, based on actual conversations between actors.
