ENA's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Longing for You' is a truth-seeking drama about a detective chasing the real killer in a murder case who confronts hidden family secrets and desires.

Detective Oh Jin-seong (played by Na In-woo) relentlessly pursues the truth when his younger brother, Oh Jin-woo (played by Ren), is arrested as a suspect in a serial murder case. Oh Jin-woo possessed the same knife used in the murder and had a penchant for taking photos of people's heels, and the murders all involved severed Achilles tendons.

Shortly after Oh Jin-woo is released from suspicion and dies, Oh Jin-seong receives a USB drive containing details of his brother's death a year later. The video showed evidence that Oh Jin-woo was murdered by someone, and this was connected to the Achilles tendon severing serial murder case.

Prosecutor Go Young-joo and Prosecutor Cha Young-woon, who began a reinvestigation, discover that the luxury watch belongs to Bae Min-gyu. It is revealed that the serial killer was involved with Bae Min-gyu and Park Ki-young, and Park Ki-young showed a crazed obsession with Cha Young-woon.

Incidents occur where Bae Min-gyu kidnaps Prosecutor Yang Hee-joo and Park Ki-young kidnaps Prosecutor Go Young-joo, but thanks to the efforts of Detective Oh Jin-seong and others, Bae Min-gyu is apprehended and Yang Hee-joo is rescued. When Oh Jin-seong found Go Young-joo, she was tied up in a swimming pool in a dangerous situation.
