Purple Gwanghwamun, ARMYs in Hanbok

As BTS's Gwanghwamun concert approached, fans of various nationalities and religions filled Gwanghwamun Square with purple attire and accessories. Nazia, a Muslim fan from Brunei, wore a purple "abaya," an Islamic traditional garment, while Korean fans incorporated purple hanbok, light sticks, and hairpins. The fans expressed their anticipation for the concert, stating that their love for BTS is universal.

Special editions of daily newspapers published to commemorate BTS's Gwanghwamun concert also became popular "merchandise" among fans. The Seoul Shinmun BTS special edition, which highlighted the purple stage lighting, garnered significant interest from collectors. Yasuko, a fan from Japan, took commemorative photos with the special edition and said, "I'm happy to have one more purple merchandise."
