The film 'The Man Who Lived with the King' has surpassed 14 million viewers, and behind-the-scenes footage of actor Park Ji-hoon has been released. The video shows Park Ji-hoon, who plays the role of King Danjong Yi Hong-wi, in a scene of highly immersive acting. The movie set a record, ranking fifth in box office history, just 45 days after its release.

'The Man Who Lived with the King' is a faction historical drama set in 1457 in Cheongnyongpo. It tells the story of village chief Eom Heung-do (Yoo Hae-jin), who volunteers to be exiled to revitalize the village, and the young former king Danjong Yi Hong-wi (Park Ji-hoon), who was dethroned and exiled.

To commemorate surpassing 13 million viewers, the film released behind-the-scenes photos of Park Ji-hoon. In the photos, Park Ji-hoon revealed his strong presence with teary eyes in contemplation and a shining gaze in the darkness. The movie centers on the story of King Danjong, and Park Ji-hoon has become a '​10 million viewer actor' in his first commercial film.

'The Man Who Lived with the King' caused a 'Danjong syndrome' and became a 10 million viewer film just 31 days after its release. This marks the fourth time a historical film has reached the 10 million viewer mark. Yoo Hae-jin achieved his fifth 10 million viewer film, while Park Ji-hoon, Yoo Ji-tae, and Jeon Mi-do earned their first '10 million viewer actor' titles.

'The Man Who Lived with the King,' the first project by production company Onda Works, is a film that realized producer Park Yoon-ho's wish: "When good people create something with good intentions, the results are also good." CEO Im Eun-jeong stated that she was able to learn a lot by working with good people, including actors, production staff, and distributors, based on director Jang Hang-jun's communication and consideration.
