Dr. Shin Episode 1 Song Ji-in Brain-Body Swap Surgery

Writer Im Sung-han's first medical thriller drama, 'Doctor Shin,' has received disappointing reviews for its low viewership ratings, starting in the 1% range. The first episode recorded a viewership rating of 1.4%, and the second episode was 0.9%.

There were high expectations before the broadcast, given that it was the comeback project of writer Im Sung-han, who has produced many hit dramas such as 'See and See Again' and 'Mermaid Princess.'

The drama tells the story of a genius doctor who challenges the realm of God and a woman who is losing her soul due to brain damage. Viewers welcomed the novel concept and writer Im Sung-han's return, but the drama did not meet expectations in terms of performance.

In the first episode, genius doctor Shin Joo-shin (played by Jung Yi-chan) decides to perform a 'brain swap' surgery on top actress Mo-mo (played by Baek Seo-ra) and her mother, Hyun Ran-hee (played by Song Ji-in). Shin Joo-shin falls for Mo-mo and they become lovers, but when Mo-mo falls into a coma after an accident, Hyun Ran-hee proposes the 'brain swap.'
