RM's Comeback Amidst Ligament Tear Injury
Group BTS member RM is scheduled to minimize his movements on stage after injuring his ankle during a rehearsal for a performance at Gwanghwamun Square. His agency, Big Hit Music, announced that RM received a diagnosis of "sprain of the accessory navicular bone, partial ligament tear, and contusion of the talus" after a precise examination. Medical professionals advised him to minimize movement and focus on recovery for at least two weeks after being fitted with a leg cast.
At BTS's comeback commemorative free concert, 'BTS Comeback Live: Arirang,' scheduled for the 21st, RM will minimize his movements on stage due to his injury. The agency stated, "As this is a comeback stage in the symbolic space of Gwanghwamun, the artist himself had a very strong will to create a high-quality performance. However, we are prioritizing the medical professionals' opinions and aiming to prevent further aggravation of the injured area," adding that some of RM's performances, including choreography, will be limited.
