Kim Jun-ho, wife of flight attendant, flaunts luxury goods

Former national fencing athlete Kim Jun-ho revealed the reason he decided to retire. In a video released on the YouTube channel 'Junho Not Junho', Kim Jun-ho and his wife took a 'love language test' and discussed their respective ways of expressing affection.

Kim Jun-ho chose 'gifts' as the way he feels love the most, but his wife ranked gifts the lowest, showing different results. Kim Jun-ho explained that because he didn't earn much money as an athlete and received many gifts from his wife, he strongly desired to do something for her once he started earning money.

He recalled his appearance on 'The Return of Superman' in the past, revealing that he gifted his wife a car when she was pregnant with their second child and a luxury bag when he returned to work. Regarding the moment he shed tears while reading a letter at their second child's first birthday party, he said, "The moment I read the words, my emotions overwhelmed me, and I couldn't help but cry uncontrollably." He added that his wife likely felt both gratitude and apology at the time, as she had seen much less of her husband during that period.

Kim Jun-ho mentioned that due to his athletic career, he had to live apart from his family, stating, "There were times I only saw my family once every three months." He shared his regret that his children's expressions were different when they saw him compared to when they saw their mother, feeling that they considered their mother a true parent but him like a stranger.

In particular, when he felt that his first child, Eun-woo, didn't seem to recognize him as his father, he thought, "It's meaningless to keep exercising now," confessing the background that led him to decide to retire. His wife also said that at that time, she felt genuinely acknowledged by her husband, and even a single tear conveyed his thoughts for her, which was deeply moving.
