KBS1's new daily drama 'A Wonderful Day' is generating anticipation with the collaboration of Director Lee Jae-sang and Writer Nam Seon-hye. This drama, a new work by Director Lee Jae-sang, who previously succeeded with '​My Father Is Strange' and '​Once Again', is set to present a family melodrama combining AI and a survival war.

'A Wonderful Day', a fusion of Director Lee Jae-sang's delicate directing and Writer Nam Seon-hye's trendy writing, is being hailed as "​the true successor to KBS's hit family drama lineage." The addition of talented actors such as Yoon Jong-hoon and Uhm Hyun-kyung is expected to revitalize the stagnant daily drama market.

Set to premiere on the 30th, 'A Wonderful Day' depicts a "​tense life-or-death struggle" that unfolds as the seemingly perfect man in the world clashes with a woman full of clumsy charm. Beyond simple romance, the drama plans to address realistic issues such as love, family, and workplace survival with warmth and sharpness.

In the drama, Go Gyeol, played by Yoon Jong-hoon, becomes entangled with Jo Eun-ae, played by Uhm Hyun-kyung, the co-CEO of a startup, in his quest to retrieve 'Joy,' an AI friend he developed. The story of the two, whose relationship begins as a fated encounter and evolves into '​temporary colleagues', is expected to heighten initial engagement.

Furthermore, the switched destinies of the parent generation will be a key point to watch. The reunion of Jo Eun-ae's father, Jo Seong-jun, and Go Gyeol's father, Go Dae-chi, is anticipated to ignite conflict as past friendships and changed social statuses intertwine with their children's fates.
