Goo Hye-sun's leather pouch sold out

Actress and director Ku Hye-sun is continuing her journey as an entrepreneur by selling a leather pouch specifically for hair rollers, which she personally made, for 150,000 won. This pouch is designed to store "Kurol," a rectangular-shaped hair roller for which Ku Hye-sun received a patent. The product includes two Kurols and a keychain.

The product was sold online for 150,000 won. While some reactions online deemed the price "expensive," the item was temporarily sold out at one point. According to data released by Ku Hye-sun, the number of visits to the Kurol sales website surged by 2596.4% compared to the same period last month, reaching 38,801 visits.

Ku Hye-sun described Kurol as "a project that expands the phenomenology of K-culture," adding, "It's a product that captures the narrative of a unique scene only seen in Korean society, like people walking outside their homes with hair rollers in."

Ku Hye-sun, who completed her master's degree in engineering at KAIST and graduated early, has also been recognized for her academic capabilities, being selected as a special award recipient in the creative talent category. Notably, the "Kurol" she developed was selected as an outstanding patent for 2025, acknowledging its technological merit.
