IU, Blue Dragon Best Actress Award Acceptance Speech

IU recently reflected on her experience winning the Best Actress award at the Blue Dragon Series Awards for her role in the Netflix series "You Have Done Well" (폭싹 속았수다). In a video titled "For Gwansik" released on her YouTube channel "IU's Palette" (이지금) on August 14, she shared behind-the-scenes moments and candid thoughts about the event.

During the video, IU revealed that she was nervous and surprised when she won the award. She mentioned, >"I thought the whole team of 'You Have Done Well' might go on stage together, especially if we won the Grand Prize. Since Best Actress awards don’t usually go to Grand Prize-winning works, I was really shocked. I almost thought I’d develop stage fright. It was the first time I’ve ever been that nervous."

IU also talked about her special appearance on KBS 2TV’s "Park Bo-gum’s Cantabile", which she did for her co-star Park Bo-gum, who played Gwansik in the series. Fans were surprised to see this side of IU, to which she responded, >"I was the most surprised myself."
