Kim Mi-kyung Plays Park Min-young's Mom Again
Actress Kim Mi-kyung will once again play a mother-daughter role with junior actress Park Min-young in the new SBS drama 'Nine to Six'. This marks their sixth time playing mother and daughter together.
The drama 'Nine to Six' tells the story of a woman who has put off dating due to her dedication to her career, and the changes and growth she experiences in her work and love life after meeting a sensitive and warm man. In addition to Kim Mi-kyung and Park Min-young, Go Soo, Yook Sung-jae, and Joo Hyun-young will also appear in this drama.

Including 'Nine to Six', Kim Mi-kyung and Park Min-young have played mother and daughter a total of six times. Previous works include 'Running, Gu' (2010), 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' (2010), 'Healer' (2014), 'Her Private Life' (2019), and 'Forecasting Love and Weather' (2022).

Last September, Kim Mi-kyung appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star' and mentioned her special connection with Park Min-young. She revealed their strong bond by saying, "I've played mother and daughter with Park Min-young five times. After meeting five times, Park Min-young texted me, 'Mom, at this point, it's destiny,' and I replied, 'Yes, it seems so.'"
'Nine to Six' is based on the 2021 Chinese drama 'Easy Life' and is scheduled to be broadcast on SBS.
