Yoo Yeon-seok's Real Name Lecture at Sejong University

Actor Yoo Yeon-seok (real name Ahn Yeon-seok) will be appointed as a special professor in the Department of Film Arts at Sejong University starting in the first semester of the 2026 academic year.

Yoo Yeon-seok plans to return to his alma mater, where he completed his undergraduate and graduate studies, to dedicate himself to nurturing junior artists. He has consistently shown affection for his alma mater and has participated in special lectures for new students.

Debuting in the 2003 film 'Oldboy,' Yoo Yeon-seok has established himself as a top actor, actively working across various genres including dramas, films, and musicals.

Sejong University expects that Yoo Yeon-seok's rich field experience and acting philosophy will provide practical benefits to students. The university is focusing on him imparting his current industry insights as an active professional.

Yoo Yeon-seok will teach at his alma mater under his real name, 'Ahn Yeon-seok.' In the first semester of 2026, he will instruct the 'Multimedia Performance' course for fourth-year students majoring in acting within the Department of Film Arts. This course will focus on developing actors' ability to adapt their performances to various media environments.
