BTS Comeback: ARMY Volunteer Cleanup

The free concert "BTS Comeback Live: Arirang" to commemorate the release of BTS's 5th full album, 'Arirang,' was held on the 21st at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. The concert concluded without any major incidents, and after the performance, the 'ARMY Volunteer Group' was seen voluntarily cleaning up trash.

A large crowd filled the Gwanghwamun area to see BTS, who returned as a full group for the first time in about 3 years and 5 months. Despite concerns about safety accidents, according to the police, there were no unusual incidents such as crowd accidents. There was a minor commotion during the security check using metal detectors upon entering the venue, where items like self-defense spray and knives were found, but overall, the event proceeded in an orderly manner.

After the concert ended, fans wearing purple sashes labeled 'ARMY Volunteer Group' were seen carrying transparent bags and picking up trash. Volunteer Yoon Sang-hee said, "We believe it's our responsibility to leave the place as clean as we found it," and Ahn Su-jin stated, "Gwanghwamun is a place many ordinary people visit, so we don't want to do anything that would harm others." They appeared to be checking the surroundings further, noting that there was less trash than expected.
