When asked about the most challenging aspect during the filming of 'My Dearest,' she cited the large volume of script and the hot weather. She remarked, "I filmed for eight months, and considering the amount of hardship, I don't think I can match Deokman from 'Queen Seondeok'." Regarding why her historical dramas are well-loved, she replied, "The genre is similar to me. I think honesty and sincerity become attractive. Many people also told me that hanbok suits me well."

Nam Ji-hyun's next project is the TVING original series 'I Can Make You Tremble', a traditional romantic comedy drama that will be her first in 7 to 8 years. She said, "It's a classic romantic comedy drama after a really long time," and asked for anticipation, saying, "You'll be able to watch it with a smile."
