Meanwhile, director Jang Hang-jun's film 'The King and the Man' surpassed 8 million viewers in 26 days after its release and is on the verge of reaching 10 million viewers. The movie is set in Cheongnyeongpo in 1457 and tells the story of a village chief who voluntarily chose exile for the prosperity of his village, and a young former king who was exiled after being dethroned. Director Jang Hang-jun shared his thoughts, saying, "The number 8 million is a record that neither the production team nor the actors had ever imagined. We are living each day with gratitude."
