Wang Sa-nam, tiger CG being modified
The tiger CG in the movie 'The Tiger and the Man' is currently being revised, and distributor Showbox is undertaking its own work to reflect an improved version upon its IPTV release.
The movie is a box office hit, surpassing 10 million viewers in just 31 days since its release, but it has become controversial due to its poor CG.

Jang Won-seok, CEO of BA Entertainment and co-producer, stated that the parts lacking in quality are the responsibility of the producers and director, explaining that the rushed release schedule led to insufficient post-production time.

The film is a historical drama set in 1457 in Cheongnyongpo, depicting the story of village chief Eom Heung-do (Yoo Hae-jin), who voluntarily exiled himself for the village's prosperity, and the young former king Danjong, Lee Hong-wi (Park Ji-hoon), who was exiled after being dethroned.
Director Jang Hang-jun explained that the lifeblood of CG is time, and while rendering time for the tiger's fur expression is extensive, there wasn't enough physical time to make revisions.
