BTS Bang Si-hyuk Gwanghwamun Comeback Show

Netflix, which is broadcasting the group BTS's comeback show at Gwanghwamun Square live worldwide, stated, "There couldn't be a bigger moment," and "It's a special fortune to be together in the historic space of Gwanghwamun." Brandon Rigby, Netflix VP, said the performance "shows how much trust Netflix has in K-culture," adding, "I think it will be Netflix's biggest live event of the year." He also emphasized, "Our goal is for everyone to create the greatest moment on earth together."

Garrett English, Executive Producer, explained that they put great effort into harmoniously blending the symbolism of Gwanghwamun with BTS. He said, "From the beginning, we had many conversations about how to achieve a harmony between tradition and modernity," and while emphasizing the historicity of Gwanghwamun and Gyeongbok Palace, they strived to incorporate BTS's modern elements. He added, "It was an important task to balance the scale of the space from Gyeongbok Palace to the viewing area with the closeness between the seven members and the fans." He confidently stated that the "scale of this performance will be unprecedentedly grand," and that it "will be an unforgettable moment for both BTS and ARMY."
