Hwang Young-woong Returns to the Stage After 3 Years

Singer Hwang Young-woong broke his three-year hiatus by taking the stage at the '54th Gangjin Celadon Festival'. The performance, attended by approximately 10,000 fans and residents from across the country, underscored his unwavering popularity.

It was reported that Hwang Young-woong dedicated himself to practice in preparation for his comeback stage, diligently rehearsing and checking until the night before the performance.

After passionately singing his first song, 'Mien Sarang' (Unlovely Love), he bowed deeply and respectfully to the audience to express his gratitude. He also revealed his overwhelming emotions, stating, "​I didn't know a day like this would come again," and pledged, "​I will start again, one step at a time."

Hwang Young-woong expressed his sincerity, saying, "The moment I dreamed of most fervently during the past three years away from the stage is right now." He added, "​I bow my head in gratitude to the fans who remembered and waited, and to the residents of Gangjin who gave me this precious opportunity."

He passionately performed his new song 'Oppa Ga Dorawatda' (Oppa is Back), along with 'Tteugeoun Annyeong' (Hot Goodbye) and 'Baman' (Night Fog), explaining, "'Tteugeoun Annyeong' is not a farewell greeting, but a warm greeting signaling a new beginning," further emphasizing the significance of his comeback stage.
