Kim Jin-pyo, Reason for Appearing on Show Me for 12 Years
Kim Jinpyo has been re-selected as the MC for "Show Me The Money 12," returning after a four-year hiatus. Chief Producer Choi Hyo-jin shared that Kim Jinpyo was very happy to receive the MC offer. Kim Jinpyo has hosted the show since Season 3 in 2014, continuing up to Season 12.
Choi Hyo-jin CP mentioned that Kim Jinpyo was the first Korean artist to release a solo rap album, and jokingly suggested to Kim Jinpyo, who was boasting about Panic's 2026 concert plans, that he should perform on "Show Me The Money" as well. Kim Jinpyo replied, "If I do it, I'll get criticized," but Choi CP stated he plans to encourage him to try it once.

Choi CP recalled that even though Kim Jinpyo was personally busy every season, he made efforts to accommodate the "Show Me The Money" filming schedule, sometimes finding it difficult.
Choi CP continued, saying he felt Kim Jinpyo would have been disappointed if he hadn't been offered the MC role for the new season, and he felt a sense of warmth seeing how delighted he was after the offer. He explained this was due to the relationships built over the long history of the program.
