BTS member V has proven his overwhelming popularity by sweeping first place in major Japanese popularity ranking polls. He has held the No. 1 spot for 257 consecutive weeks in the 'Nehan' poll and maintained his No. 1 position for 223 consecutive weeks in 'K-board's 'K-pop Idol Popularity Ranking.' He also took first place in the 'Korean Drama Male Actor General Election' and the 'Handsome Man Election.' On 'K-pop Juice,' he secured first place with a difference of over 2.3 million votes, and he recorded the highest search volume among Korean stars on Google Trends Japan and X (formerly Twitter).

Eriko Kitagawa, a renowned Japanese drama scriptwriter, showed special interest in V's advertisement photos, and actor Takashi Okabe expressed his fondness by imitating V's signature pose. BTS's single CD 'Butter' surpassed 4 million cumulative points on Japan's Oricon 'Weekly Combined Single Ranking,' setting a record for the first overseas artist. This result, which combines streaming and digital download figures, makes BTS the first overseas artist to achieve this record and the second artist overall. 'Butter' and 'Permission to Dance' each held the No. 1 spot on the Oricon streaming chart for eight consecutive weeks and continue to receive steady love to this day.
