Previously, Taemin was embroiled in plastic surgery rumors after claims emerged that his appearance in a video uploaded to the official Amazon Music account looked different from usual. Some netizens claimed that the shape of his nose and his facial lines had changed, but counterarguments were also raised stating it was merely a difference due to makeup, lighting, or camera angles. With Taemin directly revealing his recent appearance, the related suspicions appear to be put to rest for now.
