Song Min-ho, First Trial for Alleged Inadequate Military Service Postponed
Singer Song Min-ho, a member of the group Winner, is facing controversy after being spotted attending a movie premiere while under suspicion of dereliction of duty. Song Min-ho reportedly attended the VIP premiere of the film 'Method Acting' to support his close friend, actor Lee Dong-hwi.
Song Min-ho has been serving as a public service worker since March 2023 and is accused of violating military service laws by being absent from duty without leave for a total of 102 days. He was transferred to the prosecution last May and indicted without detention on December 30. During the police investigation, Song Min-ho reportedly admitted to most of the charges of leaving his post.

Song Min-ho's first trial is scheduled to be held at the Seoul Western District Court on April 21, but the date has been changed after a request for postponement was granted. Regarding the allegations of dereliction of duty, some are criticizing Song Min-ho's actions as inappropriate given that he is facing trial.
