Ryu Haejun Admits Involvement in Crime, Shocking Confession

Actor Ryu Hae-jun shocked viewers by confessing his involvement as an accomplice in the 9th episode of ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama 'The Scarecrow'. Ryu Hae-jun, who plays detective Park Dae-ho, heightened the drama's immersion by delicately portraying a character wavering in the face of reality.

In this episode, Park Dae-ho, unlike his usual self, kept his distance from Kang Tae-ju (played by Park Hae-soo). He tried to dissuade Tae-ju, who was pursuing the truth behind the Hye-jin (played by Lee A-rin) incident, and despite orders to lead the search operation, he revealed his anxiety by saying, "I refuse. Honestly, I hope nothing comes out of there."

Afterward, the truth Park Dae-ho had been hiding was revealed. It turned out he had participated in burying Hye-jin's body, unable to withstand the pressure from prosecutor Cha Si-young (played by Lee Hee-jun), detective Jang Myung-do (played by Jeon Jae-hong), and Do Hyung-gu (played by Kim Eun-woo). Ultimately, Tae-ju discovered all of this, pushing Park Dae-ho to the brink and bringing the drama's tension to its peak.

Ryu Hae-jun intensely portrayed the psychology of a "flawed youth" crumbling due to a wrong choice. He convincingly depicted the character's complex emotions – suffering under the weight of guilt yet forced to make a cowardly choice – through trembling eyes and unsteady breaths.
