Billboard announced that 'ARIRANG' surpassed Luke Combs' 'The Way I Am' and Morgan Wallen's 'I'm the Problem' to reach number one on the main album chart, the 'Billboard 200'. The 'Billboard 200' ranks albums based on a combination of album sales, streaming equivalent units (SEA), and track equivalent units (TEA), totaling album units.

'ARIRANG' recorded 641,000 album units during this tracking period, achieving the highest group record to date since the album unit tracking began in December 2014. Of these, album sales accounted for 532,000 copies, marking BTS's seventh number one on the 'Top Album Sales' chart. SEA reached 95,000 units, the highest streaming figure for any BTS album to date.

Billboard noted that BTS recorded the most album units since Taylor Swift's 'The Life of a Showgirl' last year. Out of the 532,000 album sales, physical albums comprised 516,000 copies. Notably, LP sales reached 208,000 copies, setting the highest LP sales for a group since record-keeping began in 1991.
With this number one ranking for 'ARIRANG', BTS has achieved their seventh number one on the 'Billboard 200'. Since their first number one in 2018 with 'Love Yourself: Tear', which was the first for a K-pop album, they have placed a total of six albums at the top of this chart: 'Love Yourself: Answer', 'Map of the Soul: Persona', 'Map of the Soul: 7', 'BE', and 'Proof'.
