TVING's original series 'Yumi's Cells Season 3', set to premiere on April 13th, has released character stills of Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun), who has become a star writer but still finds love difficult. This season depicts Yumi's uneventful daily life being disrupted by an unexpected character, leading her to laugh, cry, and fall in love once again.

In the released stills, Yumi is seen smiling brightly while holding a bouquet, showcasing the stability she has achieved in her daily life as a writer. However, her peaceful routine is reignited with excitement by the appearance of her PD, Sun-rok (played by Kim Jae-won). Yumi's gaze as she holds an umbrella for Sun-rok hints at a change from her previous self.
Regarding this season, Kim Go-eun explained, "Yumi's daily life begins in a state of 'only work' as she strives to succeed as a writer." She added, "Viewers will see Yumi's cells awaken and regain vitality as she faces new concerns about what to do outside of work and how to rest even when she has downtime."

Kim Go-eun also cited "relatability" as the reason for 'Yumi's Cells' popularity, stating, "The subtle and detailed emotions of everyday life are captured in the work, and the cells' ability to evoke a 'chuckle' rather than just making situations serious is a point of connection." She added that this season has more humor than previous seasons.
