BTS's V, Recent Update Before Comeback
BTS member V was spotted on the streets of Seoul with his close friend Park Hyungsik. On the 7th, V shared photos of his recent activities, writing "January Oari, February Hajime." The photos show V enjoying a simple daily life, such as buying and eating bungeoppang (fish-shaped pastry) on the street, walking arm-in-arm with Park Hyungsik, and eating fish cakes at a street food stall.
Meanwhile, BTS will release their fifth full-length album ‘ARIRANG’ on March 20th. This is their first new album in approximately 3 years and 9 months since the anthology album ‘Proof’ released in June 2022, and their first full-length album in 6 years and 1 month since ‘MAP OF THE SOUL : 7’ released in February 2020.

As part of their comeback promotions, BTS will hold a comeback stage event, ‘BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG,’ at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21st, the day after the album release. This will be the first time an artist holds a solo concert at Gwanghwamun Square.
V communicated with fans by sharing his recent life through his personal Instagram. He revealed glimpses of himself exercising and tending to plants at home, stating, "I've been very busy lately preparing for the album and taking care of my plants."
V completed his military service after enlisting with RM in December 2023. After his discharge, he has been balancing his personal schedules with preparations for BTS's comeback. The members have all announced plans for full-group activities after their discharges, raising fans' expectations.

BTS is focusing on music production in LA and plans to hold a world tour starting in April alongside their album comeback. The tour will include various cities such as Tokyo, Tampa, El Paso, and Mexico City.
Additionally, V surpassed 70 million followers on his personal Instagram, setting a record as the first Korean male celebrity to do so. He has consistently proven his global popularity since opening his Instagram account in December 2021.
Recently, V shared on a Weverse live broadcast that he has been busy preparing for the comeback. He said, "I've been so busy lately... I have various things to prepare, the Gwanghwamun concert, our tour concert, and I'm busy preparing for the upcoming 'Arirang' album." He also revealed that he developed mouth sores due to fatigue, causing concern among fans.

V showed his "plant parent" side by revealing his new home, showing off his plants and newly purchased paintings. Artist Alison Friend expressed her excitement on her painting being featured in V's live broadcast.
BTS has raised fans' expectations by stating that they will make 2026 "an important year for us," and "BTS's year in 2026."
