The Boyz, Cha Won-gi's 9-member cut-off

Nine members of the boy group The Boyz (excluding New) will terminate their exclusive contracts with Cre.ker Entertainment. They notified the company of the contract termination citing significant breaches of their exclusive contracts and a breakdown of trust, and negotiations that lasted over a month ultimately failed.

The Boyz members requested access to their contracts and settlement details, but Cre.ker Entertainment did not provide them. It is known that during the negotiation process, the company claimed the members were at fault and demanded penalty fees.

Cre.ker Entertainment is understood to be in a state of complete capital erosion, including billions of won in unsettled payments and unpaid amounts to partner companies and staff. Furthermore, they used the members' dorm deposit and did not even provide support for practice rooms, leading to a situation where the members are renting practice rooms and covering staff costs with their own money.

Other agencies led by CEO Cha Ga-won are also in a state of complete capital erosion, and even basic support for artists has been cut off. Previously, Taemin of SHINee also terminated his contract with Big Planet Made Entertainment.
