Jung Jun Won Transforms into Lovebird with Gong Hyo Jin

Actor Jung Joon-won will showcase a new acting transformation in MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama '​Killer Wife'. In this drama, scheduled to premiere in July, Jung Joon-won will play the role of Kwon Tae-seong.

'Killer Wife' is based on a popular webtoon of the same name and depicts the struggles of a working mother with the most dangerous job in the world as she fights to maintain her work-life balance. Jung Joon-won will portray Kwon Tae-seong, the husband of Yoo Bo-na (played by Gong Hyo-jin) and a reporter in the investigative reporting team at a newspaper.

Kwon Tae-seong is a bold individual who fearlessly tackles injustice in the world. He is always cheerful with his handsome looks and sense of humor, but he carries secrets and inner turmoil deep within his heart. Jung Joon-won is expected to realistically portray the narrative of a man who strives to protect his family, seamlessly transitioning between the aspects of a loving husband who openly expresses his affection and a doting father. Furthermore, as a former dedicated reporter for 'Kingfisher', he is anticipated to add tension to the drama by gradually approaching the truth behind a mysterious figure.
