So Ji Sub's 'The Office' Dad Action Flick

SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Manager Kim' will premiere on June 26. This drama is a revenge action drama about a father's universe, where the 'most ordinary dad in the world' becomes the 'most dangerous man in the world' to get his only daughter back.

The main poster has been released, featuring various characters including So Ji-sub, Choi Dae-hoon, Yoon Kyung-ho, Joo Sang-wook, Son Na-eun, Kim Sung-kyu, Lee Jae-yong, Won Hyun-joon, Park Jin-woo, Jo Bok-rae, Lee Dong-ha, Seo Soo-min, and Yoo Ji-an. In the center of the poster, Manager Kim (So Ji-sub) transforms with a chilling expression upon seeing his daughter Min-ji's (Seo Soo-min) precarious look, showing an awakened state with a gun in hand. Sung Han-soo (Choi Dae-hoon) points a gun, and Park Jin-chul (Yoon Kyung-ho) attempts to break through with his bare hands, foreshadowing fathers' life-or-death action.

Joo Kang-chan (Joo Sang-wook) exudes a powerful aura around Manager Kim, while Sang-ah (Son Na-eun), with a bruised face, hints at an action transformation, raising anticipation for a twist. Furthermore, the mysterious North Korean spy Kang Sung (Kim Sung-kyu), North Korean spy trainer Ri Eung-ryeong (Lee Jae-yong), Special Operations Bureau Director Tang Gang-a-ji (Won Hyun-joon), the next-door neighbor Mr. Im (Park Jin-woo) who runs a dry cleaner, mercenary company CEO Geum-i-ppal (Jo Bok-rae), Joo Kang-chan's chief of staff Manager Nam (Lee Dong-ha), and Joo Kang-chan's daughter Joo Hye-ri (Yoo Ji-an) are revealed to be individuals secretly protecting Manager Kim, who is special agent Code Name 66, sparking curiosity.

'Manager Kim' is an adaptation of the Naver webtoon of the same name, a collaboration between writer Nam Dae-joong and director Lee Seung-young. The first broadcast is on June 26 at 9:50 PM.

The production team described the main poster as "a decisive shot that makes us anticipate the birth of a cathartic blockbuster drama" and urged viewers to watch with interest how the characters in the drama will become intertwined.
