KBS Meteorologist Kang Ah-rang Quits, Reveals Pregnancy

Weathercaster Kang A-rang has personally announced her pregnancy news, revealing her recent activities after leaving KBS. Clues in photos posted on her social media quickly led to the revelation of her pregnancy.

On the 5th, Kang A-rang posted several photos on her social media with the caption, "Im-ming out. Everyone, I did it! I'm a mom!!!" The photos included a bouquet of flowers, gifts, and shopping bags that appeared to contain baby items.

Upon seeing these photos, acquaintances quickly guessed her pregnancy, commenting, "Baby shopping bags," and "Now I understand the reason for leaving." Kang A-rang also shared a message with a laugh, "Moms who see this photo know the reason for her departure without me saying it." Additionally, a screen displaying "Kang A-rang Resignation" was shown along with a picture of her smiling brightly in a broadcasting studio, holding a bouquet and a cake.

Kang A-rang also candidly shared the difficulties of early pregnancy. She conveyed the physical changes she is experiencing along with her joy, saying, "Morning sickness is a given, and I even went to the emergency room for an unexpected, not-so-funny incident... My tailbone, what is going on... Ah, could it be dislocated?"

Kang A-rang married a veterinarian of the same age in 2023 and recently resigned from KBS, where she had worked as a weathercaster for 11 years. The pregnancy news, announced shortly after her resignation, appears to signal the beginning of her second act in life. The photos released also included a fetal ultrasound image that showed a stable form.
