In a video posted on his YouTube channel 'Gym Jong Kook' on the 27th, Kim Jong-kook revealed his health condition, stating, "Recently, I've been so sick that even talking has been difficult." Vestibular neuritis is a condition where inflammation occurs in the vestibular organs inside the ear, causing severe dizziness and nausea.

Kim Jong-kook attributed the cause of his illness to overwork and stress from a busy schedule that involved traveling to four countries in one month. Regarding his symptoms, he expressed his extreme suffering, saying, "I lost my sense of balance and the world was spinning, I couldn't eat or drink anything for two days, and even when lying down, I felt like I was constantly spinning."

Despite it being less than a week since the onset of his illness, Kim Jong-kook showed his determination to continue working even while recovering.
