4Minute's Nam Ji-hyun, camera director's verbal abuse
Nam Ji-hyun, a former member of the group 4Minute, revealed her experience of being verbally abused by a camera director during a past drama filming. While appearing on Hwangbo Ra's YouTube channel to discuss her entertainment career, Nam Ji-hyun shared that during her first drama filming while active with 4Minute, a camera director told her, "Hey, you ugly b****, step forward."

In response, Nam Ji-hyun thought, "I need to overcome this with the power of positivity," and replied, "Your ugly b** is coming,**" to which the director reacted, "Ho ho, look at that b****." After filming, it is reported that the director apologized, explaining he didn't know Nam Ji-hyun was a member of 4Minute and thought she was a rookie actress, so he said it to build her courage. Hwangbo Ra expressed surprise at the situation at the time, saying, "This is something unimaginable these days."
