BTS, I Purple U Night Preparation

BTS's comeback performance 'BTS Comeback Live: Arirang' held at Gwanghwamun Square has already filled the venue with fans. Instead of the Statue of King Sejong, the Turtle Ship, or Gyeongbokgung Palace, everywhere BTS is present has become a hot spot. Fans, armed with purple items, shared their excitement while documenting this historic moment.

International fans from countries like France, Vietnam, and Indonesia have also come to Korea to see BTS. One fan stated, "I came to Korea solely for the Gwanghwamun concert," while another shared, "Thanks to BTS, I learned Korean and came to like Korea." Yet another fan mentioned they came to Korea with their family and plan to enjoy the concert.

Shops near Gwanghwamun have also experienced a 'BTS boom.' Convenience stores have stocked up to 100 times their usual inventory of items like water, blankets, and hot packs, with a significant increase in battery sales expected for charging ARMY Bombs. Duty-free shops have also set up merchandise sales booths and photo spots targeting global fans.

A total of approximately 22,000 seats will be available at the concert venue, and a live broadcast will be shown on a large LED screen in front of Seoul City Hall for fans who couldn't get tickets. Mr. A, an office worker who has worked in Gwanghwamun for 20 years, expressed his anticipation, saying, "It's been a long time since I've felt such a good, lively energy."

A total of 15,000 safety personnel will be deployed to prevent accidents, with the involvement of police, fire authorities, and HYBE. As a crowd of up to 260,000 people is expected, the terror alert level has been raised. Portable restrooms, on-site medical stations, and mobile intensive care units will be operational around the concert venue.
