Sim Wooseong New Employee Chairman Kang Appears

Actor Shim Woo-seong has been confirmed to appear in JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama "​Rookie Chairman Kang." "Rookie Chairman Kang" is a drama that tells a remind-life story unfolding as Kang Yong-ho, the chairman of Choi Sung Group, known as the god of business, lives an unwanted second life due to an accident.

In the drama, Shim Woo-seong will play Mayor Jang Young-guk, who is preparing for re-election, adding tension to the story. Mayor Jang Young-guk is a character at the center of the complex web of interests among the characters, and he is expected to play a role in increasing the drama's immersion by triggering the flow of events in the early part of the story.

Previously, Shim Woo-seong showcased a wide range of acting skills in various works, including the Netflix series "Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area," "Somebody," and "Narco-Saints," as well as the dramas "Decent Sales" and "Queen of Tears," and the movies "Sunday League" and "Project Wolf Hunting." He has also proven his stable acting abilities on stage in musicals like "Laundry" and plays such as "World Friends" and "Akaino Bike." Furthermore, he revealed a strong presence as Detective Na Tae-man in the TVING original drama "Study Group."
