Ha Jung-woo Returns to K-Drama After 19 Years

Ha Jung-woo has returned to the small screen for the first time in 19 years since MBC's 'H.I.T.' in 2007. The tvN weekend drama 'How to Become a Building Owner in Korea' (hereafter 'Building Owner') recorded an average viewership rating of 3.6% for households in the Seoul metropolitan area, with a peak of 4.3%, and an average of 3.5% nationwide, with a peak of 4.1% in its sixth episode, ranking first in its time slot among cable and general programming channels. However, the fifth episode, aired on the 28th, showed a slump, recording its lowest viewership rating of 2.6%.

In the sixth episode, as the incident surrounding Seyun Building escalated, Ki Soo-jong's (Ha Jung-woo) desire for redevelopment was depicted. A shocking incident occurred where Jeon Yang-ja (Kim Geum-soon) died from an attack by Oh Dong-gi (Hyun Bong-sik). Jeon Yi-kyung (Jung Soo-jung) fainted, recalling memories of being kidnapped at the scene of her mother's accident, and amidst the misfortune, she received news of her pregnancy.

Oh Dong-gi, who murdered Jeon Yang-ja and fled, was put on the wanted list as Jeon Yi-kyung's kidnapper. Ki Soo-jong and Kim Seon (Im Soo-jung) were anxious that Oh Dong-gi might be caught and reveal the secret. Oh Dong-gi threatened them, saying he would reveal the secret if he wasn't given 2 billion won.

Ki Soo-jong planned to buy Hanmaeum Building from Elder Kim (Nam Myung-ryeol) with the money instead of giving it to Oh Dong-gi. Assistant Minister Nam (Park Sung-il) offered an additional 10 billion won to the Seyun Building price for the purchase of Hanmaeum Building. Kim Seon dissuaded him, calling it "a crisis, not an opportunity," but Ki Soo-jong, while regretting the fake kidnapping he helped Min Hwal-sung with, could not shake off his desire to get closer to his redevelopment goal. Stimulated by Min Hwal-sung calling him a 'loser' in his dream, Ki Soo-jong hardened his resolve.

Ki Soo-jong devised a plan to frame Oh Dong-gi for the kidnapping, persuading Kim Seon. They placed evidence of the kidnapping in Oh Dong-gi's motel room and headed to the meeting place, but the police were following them, and Oh Dong-gi was shot and killed by a police officer in an unexpected accident.
