Goblin Stars Gong Yoo & Lee Dong Wook Reunite for 10th Anniversary

The drama "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" (abbreviated as "Goblin") will present a special program with its main cast to mark its 10th anniversary.

"Goblin," which first aired on tvN in 2016, set historical records, including being the first cable drama to surpass 20% viewership ratings. Even after its conclusion, it continued to be loved overseas and is considered a representative drama that contributed to the spread of the Korean Wave.

The actors' delicate performances, writer Kim Eun-sook's stylish dialogue, director Lee Eung-bok's visual artistry, and the OST created a cultural phenomenon at the time. In 2017, it swept various awards ceremonies, establishing itself as a work symbolizing the sensibility and popular culture of an era.

Through this 10th-anniversary special program, tentatively titled "Goblin 10th Anniversary," the main actors, including Gong Yoo, Lee Dong-wook, Kim Go-eun, and Yoo In-na, will embark on a short trip to look back on memorable scenes, famous lines, and the special meaning the drama left behind.

This special is planned as a tvN 20th-anniversary edition, adding to the significance of the drama's 10th-anniversary commemoration. tvN stated, "'Goblin' is an iconic work, and this special program will evoke viewers' memories and nostalgia.
