Yoon Daeman, Fate War 49, 100 Million Protagonist

Yoon Daeman, a shaman with five years of experience, was named the final winner of the Disney+ variety show 'War of Fate 49'. He secured the 100 million won grand prize by scoring 173 points in the final three-person competition.

Yoon Daeman became emotional, saying, "I want to tell my late grandmother that I miss her, thank her, and love her." He shared his difficult past, overcoming poverty in his childhood and having to give up traditional Korean music, and delivered the message, "​Fate can be changed. You can forge your own destiny."

Yoon Daeman has previously appeared on TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot' and JTBC's 'Pungryu Daejang'. He even taught singing to Kim Hojoong on 'Mr. Trot'.

Meanwhile, controversy arose when the families of firefighter Kim Cheolhong and police sergeant Lee Jaehyun, who participated in the 'Guessing the Deceased's Cause of Death' mission aired in episode 2 of 'War of Fate 49', protested the broadcast content. The families claimed that sensational language was used, contrary to the explanation that the mission was to honor their noble sacrifices, and considered legal action.

In response, the production team stated, "We once again offer our deepest apologies to the bereaved families, firefighters, police officers, and viewers who were hurt by our shortcomings and oversights," and announced that the relevant parts would be re-edited.
