'The Man Living with the King' Tops Weekend Box Office for Three Consecutive Weeks, Surpassing 5.8 Million Viewers

From the 20th to the 22nd, the film attracted over 1.414 million viewers, maintaining its number one position at the weekend box office. The cumulative audience has now reached over 5.828 million.

The movie tells the story of the deposed King Danjong, Yi Hong-wi, as he spends the final period of his life connecting with the villagers, including the village chief Um Heung-do, in exile. The strong performances of the lead actors and fresh characters are drawing audiences across generations.

Taking the second spot on the weekend box office was Ryoo Seung-wan's 'Humint,' with over 239,000 viewers, bringing its cumulative audience to over 1.579 million. 'Humint,' released on the 11th, has held the second position for two consecutive weekends.

'The Orchestra of God,' starring Park Si-hoo and Jung Jin-woon, secured third place. 'Number One,' starring Choi Woo-shik and Jang Hye-jin, came in fourth, and the horror film 'Ghost Calling App: Yeong,' starring Kim Young-jae, Kim Joo-ah, and Yang Jo-ah, ranked fifth.

Currently, 'The Man Living with the King' also leads in advance ticket sales with 50.3%, with over 133,000 people awaiting their viewing. 'Humint' is in second place with a 12.9% advance ticket sales rate.
