The 6th episode of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Dr. Lawyer', which aired on the 28th, depicted Shin Sung-rok (played by Lee Seung-gi), who was released due to insufficient evidence after being arrested as a murder suspect, making a bold move to catch the real killer in the murder case of a genius scientist. This scene led to an increase in viewership ratings.

The drama 'Dr. Lawyer' recorded viewership ratings of 10.6% in the Seoul metropolitan area and 10% nationwide, with the highest minute-by-minute rating reaching 12.8%. This is an overwhelming first place among all mini-series airing during the same time slot and on Fridays and Saturdays, and it marks the third consecutive week of breaking its own highest viewership rating record. Furthermore, it ranked first among all channels and all programs in the 2049 target viewership rating, proving its status as a major trending drama.

Shin Sung-rok, who was arrested on suspicion of murdering Jeon Sang-ho (played by Yoon Na-moo), was released following analysis results from the National Forensic Service. Despite the pleas of his mother, Park Kyung-hwa (played by Kim Mi-kyung), who was worried about her son, he solidified his life as a ghost-specializing lawyer, stating, "Listening to the stories of wronged souls is more precious than money or fame."

Shin Sung-rok and the deceased client Jeon Sang-ho suspected his father-in-law, lab director Kim Tae-joon (played by Kim Hong-pa), as the real killer, but the truth was revealed during a visit. When Jeon Sang-ho, possessing Shin Sung-rok's body, spoke a "love code" to his wife Kim Soo-jung (played by Jung Ga-hee), Kim Soo-jung tearfully confessed to the murder. She explained that her father had to stay by her mother's side because she suffered from a rare disease, and the case entered a new phase.

Han Na-hyun (played by Lee Som) focused on the fact that Shin Sung-rok knew the exact crime scene from the beginning. She decided to use Shin Sung-rok not because of the existence of ghosts, but as a 'key player' in solving the case. Han Na-hyun apologized, saying, "I'm sorry for misunderstanding," and joined hands with Shin Sung-rok to reconstruct the case.
