Singer Hong Seo-bum and Jo Gap-gyeong's former daughter-in-law, Ms. A, expressed her anger again upon hearing the news of Jo Gap-gyeong's appearance on 'Radio Star'. Ms. A is causing controversy by revealing that the marriage between her and Mr. B, the son of Hong Seo-bum and Jo Gap-gyeong, collapsed due to his infidelity during their marriage. Ms. A married Mr. B in 2024, but claimed that conflict arose in April of the same year, while she was pregnant, when Mr. B began an affair with a colleague. Ms. A filed a lawsuit against Mr. B seeking damages for emotional distress, and the first trial court ruled that Mr. B was responsible for the breakdown of the marriage, ordering him to pay Ms. A 30 million won in damages and 800,000 won per month in child support. The appeal trial is currently underway.

Hong Seo-bum and Jo Gap-gyeong stated, "We bow our heads and deeply apologize for disappointing and inconveniencing the public regarding our son's divorce lawsuit." In response, former daughter-in-law Ms. A sharply criticized them, saying, "Apologize to me, my child, and my family, not the public."
