The Boyz Contract Termination Not Accepted
Some members of the group The Boyz requested the termination of their exclusive contracts, but their agency, Cre.ker Entertainment (formerly Cre.ker Studio, now One Hundred Label), refused. The agency stated, "We cannot accept the request for termination of exclusive contracts by some members of The Boyz."
The agency revealed, "We paid a large signing bonus on the premise that all 11 members would be active, but this premise was shattered last year due to various controversies involving members," referencing the departure of member Ju Haknyeon following personal life controversies. They added, "We have been striving to maintain group activities by persuading related companies that suffered losses and by bearing significant deficits."

Regarding suspicions of misappropriating 150 million won in dormitory deposit by CEO Cha Ga-won and suspending management support, the agency refuted, "These are malicious false facts with no basis whatsoever." They claimed, "We expressed our intention to maintain support such as vehicles, managers, and trainees as before, but the members refused this first."

The Boyz signed a three-year exclusive contract with One Hundred Label in December 2024. Subsequently, suspicions of unpaid settlement money were raised regarding CEO Cha. Currently, nine members, excluding New, have declared their intention to pursue independent activities, citing a breakdown of trust with the company.
As the claims from both sides diverge, legal battles, including an application for a provisional disposition to suspend the contract's validity, are anticipated.
