Ahead of the premiere of MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama '21st Century Grand Prince's Wife', lead actors IU and Byun Woo-seok showcased their exceptional chemistry through a playful promotional battle on social media. The drama is a romance that breaks down social status barriers, set in 21st-century South Korea.

IU posted the drama's couple poster on her social media, tagging Byun Woo-seok. Although she included broadcast information on the poster, part of it was cut off. Byun Woo-seok shared this, adding the broadcast time. IU then shared it again, adding "It's fun." When Byun Woo-seok responded with "Really," IU playfully concluded by saying, "I lost."

The released couple poster depicts the main characters, Seong Hee-ju (played by IU) and Grand Prince Lee Hwan (played by Byun Woo-seok), cooperating for each other's goals, with a strong will felt in their gazes.

In the drama, IU plays Seong Hee-ju, a capable businesswoman who has everything but chooses a contract marriage due to the limitations of her commoner status. Byun Woo-seok plays Grand Prince Lee Hwan, who can possess nothing but his royal status, portraying a character who hides a fiery heart.

'21st Century Grand Prince's Wife,' which is generating anticipation for the chemistry between IU and Byun Woo-seok, will premiere on April 10th.
