BTS's RM's Ankle Cast Update

RM, the leader of BTS, sustained an ankle injury during a performance rehearsal but is preparing to meet fans while sharing his current condition with a cast. RM expressed his regret on his social media with a photo of his casted foot.

According to his agency, Big Hit Music, RM injured his ankle during rehearsal and was diagnosed with "navicular bone sprain, partial ligament tear, and talus contusion." Medical professionals recommended minimizing movement and focusing on recovery for at least two weeks.

Consequently, RM's participation in some performances, such as stage choreography, will be limited, but the agency stated that he will participate on stage within the possible range to connect with fans. RM also conveyed his apologies to fans through a live broadcast, saying that although performing will be difficult, he will do his best with his vocals and the overall atmosphere.

BTS is scheduled to hold 'BTS Comeback Live: Arirang' at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on the 21st to showcase their new songs. RM emphasized that the injury is not severe and stated he will focus on recovering by the time of the concert.

RM lamented, "I think I worked a bit too hard, and my ankle got injured." He added, "I practiced dancing really hard and a lot, but due to the injury, it's become difficult to show the performance right away." However, he also said, "Still, since it's a chance to meet you all, I will go on stage and do my best with my vocals and vibe."
