Showbox shared on social media, "A story of that time, completed thanks to 3.7 million citizens," along with photos showing the warm camaraderie of the cast and crew. The pictures featured director Jang Hang-jun, Park Ji-hoon, Yoo Hae-jin, Yoo Ji-tae, Jeon Mi-do, and Lee Joon-hyuk, all wearing matching t-shirts and smiling brightly, showcasing their strong teamwork. Earlier, on the 17th, director Jang Hang-jun and the actors held a stage greeting event to express their gratitude to the audience for the film's success.

'The Man Who Lived with the King' is a film depicting the story of the young former king Danjong and the villagers who welcomed him, set in Cheongnyongpo in 1457. According to the Korean Film Council's Integrated Network of Admissions, 'The Man Who Lived with the King' recorded a cumulative audience of 13,722,159, ranking first at the box office.
