Lee Hyeri Announces Exciting News

Actress Lee Hye-ri has been selected as the 'NEXT ACTOR' for the 14th Muju Mountain Film Festival. This program, in collaboration with the Baek Eun-ha Actor Research Institute, is the only actor-focused special program in Korea that selects actors with diverse spectrums and potential each year and explores their acting worlds. Previously, Park Jung-min, Go Ah-sung, Ahn Jae-hong, Jeon Yeo-been, Byun Yo-han, Go Min-si, and Choi Hyun-wook have been selected as 'NEXT ACTOR'.

Lee Hye-ri was recognized for her potential as an actress in the 2014 drama , and in 2015, she starred as 'Deok-sun' in <Reply 1988>, causing a sensation and proving both her star power and acting skills. Since then, she has moved between dramas and films, freely portraying a wide range of characters from vibrant and lovable to mysterious and glamorous, establishing her own acting domain. The Muju Mountain Film Festival stated the reason for selecting Lee Hye-ri was that she is "an actress who consistently shows new faces across genres and characters, and whose future endeavors are highly anticipated."

At the 14th Muju Mountain Film Festival, there will be opportunities for direct interaction with the audience through various programs including screenings of Lee Hye-ri's films, GV (Guest with Audience) sessions, and special outdoor talks. Notably, the 'NEXT ACTOR Self Trailer' video, which Lee Hye-ri directly participated in and completed, will be unveiled for the first time at the opening ceremony on June 4th. Additionally, a booklet highlighting Lee Hye-ri's acting world and an exhibition program featuring her behind-the-scenes stories are planned.

The 14th Muju Mountain Film Festival will be held for a total of 5 days from June 4th (Thursday) to June 8th (Monday) in the Muju County area.
