Park Jaehyun's Daughter Battles Congenital Heart Disease

It has been revealed that actor Park Jae-hyun's daughter is suffering from congenital heart disease. TV CHOSUN's 'X's Private Life' covered the post-divorce daily lives of Park Jae-hyun and his ex-wife Han Hye-joo, who is 16 years his junior.

Han Hye-joo spoke about the conflicts during her marriage to Park Jae-hyun and revealed that the fact that their daughter was born with a congenital heart condition was one of the significant reasons for her decision to divorce. Their daughter has undergone a total of four major surgeries from the age of one to five.

Regarding her daughter's heart condition, Han Hye-joo explained, "The heart's chambers are doing the opposite of what they should be doing," stating that the positions of the atria and ventricles, as well as the pulmonary artery and aorta, were switched. The broadcast showed the daughter sending video messages to her friends from her hospital room, evoking sadness.

It was revealed that at a time when she was preparing for a major surgery and living with her in-laws, Park Jae-hyun caused conflict over the issue of breakfast. Park Jae-hyun explained that he wanted to make his elderly mother, who lived in the countryside, feel that he was taking care of the household, and that his request for breakfast was open to misinterpretation.

This 'breakfast' conflict, combined with discussions about living with his parents, led Han Hye-joo to think, "It would be worse if we lived together."
