MBN's audition program, "Nameless Legend - The Ranking War of Trot Gentlemen," has successfully generated buzz by recording the No. 1 viewership rating from its very first broadcast. The premiere achieved a peak viewership of 7.213% per minute and garnered significant attention on OTT platforms, ranking third on Wavve's "Today's TOP 20" and fifth on Netflix Korea's "TOP 10 Series."

In particular, the video featuring the story of 9-year-old contestant Kim Han-yul garnered a heated response, surpassing 3.7 million views on social media in just two days. Additionally, the performances of various contestants, such as Han-garak, who participated secretly from his family; Haru, with his noble visual; Lee Dae-hwan, who formed a fan club from his very first stage; and Lee Roone, a master from the wilderness, are achieving high view counts and building fandoms.

One of the reasons "Nameless Legend" has captivated viewers is the freshness of the unknown singers. Unlike existing audition programs that have transformed into platforms for re-spotlighting established singers, "Nameless Legend" returns to the beginning, focusing on unknown singers and presenting a new concept.

The contestants, possessing visuals, skills, and compelling stories, are expanding interest beyond existing trot fandoms to include the 20s and 30s generations. The second episode will feature Kim Han-yul's story and performance, followed by even more evolved stages from the contestants.
